Furthermore, the harsh realities of Balochistan, a region marked by arid landscapes have instilled a strong work ethic in its youth. As per their tribal customs, the majority of Baloch youngsters take on significant responsibilities from a young age, contributing to their families’ well-being through agricultural labor, livestock rearing, or small businesses. This nurtures a deep respect for hard work and a drive for self-sufficiency. This commitment to honesty and hard work is not only shaping individual lives but also contributing positively to Baloch society.  Baloch students are consistently achieving academic excellence, often ranking among the top performers in national examinations. Currently, 12090 students are enrolled in the University of Balochistan only. Apart from Federal Government HEC Scholarships for Balochistan, other provinces have shown considerable generosity in accommodating students from Balochistan and other provinces have also notably increased the number of scholarships available to Balochistan students.

The Government of Pakistan is dedicated to addressing the interests of the Baloch people, recognizing them as esteemed citizens of the nation. One notable example of Balochistan’s integration into national development is the induction of Baloch youth into the Pakistan Army.  The largest-ever batch of 4,000 Baloch recruits that graduated in 2010 were included in in Pakistan Army.  Similarly, Balochistan’s share in the CPEC project is recorded as the second largest investment which is $7.1 billion out of a total of $46 billion. Likewise, a remarkable CPEC-related initiative is the Technical Training Center for Precision Mechanics and Instrument Technology in Gwadar, constructed at a cost of Rs.1200 million. Approximately 100 Baloch individuals were employed in the construction of the first phase of the Gwadar fencing project. The residents of Gwadar, being pivotal stakeholders in the Port City’s development, play a crucial role in the port’s operations and management, as well as in its industrial, commercial, and urbanization efforts. These initiatives have resulted in a significant number of jobs for the local people.

Initiatives like job creation and social programs aim to ensure their well-being and financial security. This will not only guarantee their success but also shield them from the manipulative tactics of extremist groups.
